American Petro Hunter has acquired a varied working interest seven lease blocks over 1,400 acres in Payne County Oklahoma, located in the northern part of State. One of the contained leases includes 160 acres of closure on a 7-20 foot thick sand pay zone estimated to contain 400,000 barrels of recoverable oil.
The Company sees 3 well locations possible as offsets to the producing NOS-122 well that can fully exploit the acreage. Engineering suggests 100 BPD rates may be achieved with light stimulation of the sand thereby achieving 300+ BPD from ultimate field development. The Company has a 50% WI in the lease.
